Le Grand Bistro Americain is located on Carillon Point in Kirkland.
When dining at Le Grand Bistro Americain, you can see the pleasure craft moored in Lake Washington. The sweeping view is made possible because of the large windows along the entire side of the restaurant. Enjoy the view and the sunsets across the water at Yarrow Point, and over to Seattle.
The complex holds a number of office buildings, a hotel, and several restaurants. One of our favorite restaurants is Le Grand Bistro Americain. It opened in 2010 and they call their style “French Flair. American Vibe.” Your mouth will water with anticipation as you read their menu!
My favorite dish is Boeuf Bourguignon. It never disappoints! We usually enjoy a French wine with dinner. Their salads are all delicious too. I believe we tried them all over the years. Edward and I absolutely love their Creme Brulee for dessert.
I have a Confession
Although Edward has tried quite a few of their entrees, I always order the Boeuf Bourguignon, because it is just that good. Okay, once before we stopped in for lunch on an overcast, rainy Saturday, and I had the burger. Rainy days are typical in the Seattle. It's just the trade-off for live amongst such beauty. The Puget Sound area is a special place. That rainy day, the burger just seemed like the ideal choice.
We talked to the waiter about how delicious the burger is, and it's only matched by another restaurant we love in the Wine Country, in Rutherford, California. As it turns out, he once worked there!
Go see you yourself. Le Grand Bistro Americain will not disappoint.
